How are you reading this?

How are you reading this blogpost?

How are you reading this article? To crack a lame dad joke, yes, with your eyes. But you wanted to read a supply chain article, and a google search landed you here or a link(thanks for following my link!)

Well, I wanted to avoid boring you with supply chain technical jargon such as demand planning, sourcing procurement invoicing, okay, sorry.

Now I will

Plan

In writing this blog, planning would mean understanding my audience and catering to them. I could have started with supply chains, make things happen and do this, do that. It helps cut costs for companies. I need better planning on my part to write this blog. Don’t worry. I have got you covered.

This blog is a mini business for me. I first planned that I needed an online presence. There are tons of ways I could do that. Instagram, YouTube, etc. I then considered my strengths (resources I already have ) and sourcing( what I need and where I get them?)

You may disagree after reading this blog, but I have good writing skills. Writing a blog is my best way to create an online presence.

Alas, it doesn’t end with deciding to write a blog. I also have to consider how many people actually read blogs; if they do, who are those people?

Freshers, experienced veterans, CEOS, and many other people like you.

The length and language of the blog were to be decided according to who will read it, and in the age of TLDR, I’ll keep it short.

Source

So, like all of you, I got bored with planning and thought of making it happen and starting a blog. I am the content author, so I am the best supplier of quality content, and there’s no competition.

However, I also need a website host for hosting my blog. There were tons of website hosting providers to choose from. Some had good security features, some had the best price, and some had the best SEO. I went ahead and chose the one with the least expense. Most companies source the cheapest raw materials to reduce costs and increase profit.

Quality content is more important than an expensive website host. I believe in my writing ability for quality and didn’t worry too much about the website host. I went ahead with the most popular host and domain, Bluehost and WordPress.

Make

After all the shopping, and sorry sourcing, I had to do the most challenging part: design this website and write the blog post.

However, the good part is that I only have to design the website once. (I hope I made a good one). Like most factories, the setup of a manufacturing plant has to be done only once. After that, products churn out of the factory on a mass scale.

I hope my writing is loved by all, and I also get to keep churning content on a mass scale.

Deliver

Ah! the final part.

I have to make sure this blog reaches the right people like you. I might personally reach out to you with a link and tell you to share it with others who might share the link with some more people, and you might have guessed that it could be more efficient.

I want to reach every person who wants to know about supply chains. I can work on SEO, so every person who searches “supply chain” on Google sees my website as the first result. I still need to do that, but I plan to do it soon.

Thank you so much for reading till the end. More supply chain-related content is coming soon!
